The Strokes are back!
On April 6 (Monday,) the rock band took to Instagram to share a retro teaser video featuring a 1980s Nissan 300ZX alongside the tagline "in the flesh, it's even sexier."
The clip then flashed the caption "Reality Awaits: The new album by The Strokes."
Reality Awaits, which will arrive this summer, marks the band's seventh album and its first new LP in six years. Their last album, 2020's The New Abnormal, saw the group winning the Grammy for Best Rock Album in 2021.
Frontman Julian Casablancas' other band, the Voidz, released their second album, Like All Before You, in 2024.
Recently, the Grammy-winning group returned to the stage, with a set at The Warfield in San Francisco. They're also slated to play at Coachella, Bonnaroo and Outside Land music festivals as well.
