Blue October is embracing "difficult decisions" and turning them into one of the heaviest sounding albums they've ever recorded. The group kicked off their new era with "Everything We Lost In The Fire" and are hard at work on a new album, tentatively titled after the lead single.
“The heaviest times of our lives is when we have to make difficult decisions," frontman Justin Furstenfeld said about the new song in a statement. "Change can be a beautiful part of life if you celebrate it. This is me celebrating change in the loudest way possible."
Blue October are also hitting the road this summer on a 30-city tour with Switchfoot and Matt Nathanson. “When three incredibly hardworking bands with such a huge timeless catalog of songs can actually get together on one stage to celebrate life together, it is an experience I don’t want to miss out on, and neither should you," Furstenfeld said. "I can’t wait to bring all of our communities together to celebrate.”
